If you're like me, you wait until the last minute possible to do swimsuit shopping. I dread all of it - picking out a million cute suits just to find they make me look like a can of busted biscuits because I went too hard during bulking season and didn't take lifting season as serious as I should have. I've got a total "mom bod" and while I'm a firm believer in the thought that the beach will take whichever body I give it, I still want that body to look as good as possible. But this year is different - this year I'm working with two companies that carry swimsuits, and so I decided to use my affiliate perks to order a few in hopes of falling in love with something. I chose my favorites and compiled my findings.
Sunny Co. Tropicana Swimsuit
While this swimsuit is my personal favorite, it is also the most "cheeky" of my purchases. It features an upbeat green tropical leaf print, and for the $74.99 price-tag, it is extremely well made. The top and bottom can also thankfully be ordered in different sizes and I was able to easily use the sizing chart to figure out my size. As much as I love this suit, I don't know if I will be wearing it yet this summer.
SHEIN Tie Dye Print Crisscross Bikini
When I started shopping at SHEIN, I was skeptical. The clothes look so cute on the website, and the prices seem too good to be true. Of course, I had to know the truth - was it too good to be true? For me, it's worth the risk. This tie dye suit is also well-made, and I honestly can't believe I snagged it for $8. The only downside of this suit was that they require you to order the same size top and bottom. Many shoppers noted that the top was too loose, and while that was initially the case for me, I was able to adjust the sides which helped with fit. I will be wearing this suit for sure this year.
SHEIN Pineapple Bikini
I love this super cute bikini, but if I'm being completely honest, I'll probably be wearing the tie dye bikini or pairing these bottoms with the Tropicana top this summer, which was part of the reason for this purchase since the bottoms do match the top I already had at that point. The swimsuit bottoms do not have a bikini liner and the top has a clasp that I wasn't expecting. But, once the suit was on, it was extremely comfortable and has the softest material of all three swimsuits.
