When focus@will offered me a free membership if I simply tested out their product and wrote a blog about my thoughts on it, I jumped at the chance! I have a son with Asperger's Syndrome, so he's high-functioning Autistic and also has trouble focusing on his studies, especially after being at school all day, so we try to keep it fun.
Ryan came home from school yesterday, and I told him that I had a new product to test out. He was so excited, and couldn't wait to do his homework after I explained to him what focus@will is. We got home, sat down, and loaded the focus@will website up. Immediately, he wanted to test every channel. He got excited that there was an ADHD-focused channel, but decided that it was "too beaty" for his homework session. We tried the Focus Spa channel and he said it was "too sleepy." He loved the acoustic channel and settled down to work with that one. He even asked to turn it up! You have to love a 9-year-old boy that is motivated to find the perfect music to help get his homework done.
Not only did we love this product, but he got his homework done in record time, even his Math homework! He usually struggles with being able to focus on the numbers to work to a solution, but yesterday, it was a breeze for him. We were able to get through his spelling words in under ten minutes - that has NEVER happened! He was literally done with his homework and out the door to visit his friends within a half hour! This is a service that we are excited to keep in our home. If it can help my Aspie-son focus on his homework and help him get it done in record time without pulling his hair (literally), I would pay twice as much as they're charging to have this in our home. If you or your child has trouble focusing, you need this!
(And yes, I used focus@will to help me focusing on writing this!)
